Details
Join us for a special all-levels, gentle yoga class, held in the galleries of the Hood Museum of Art, within the exhibition "Immersive Worlds: Real and Imagined."
This class aims to create a space that encourages ALL bodies to fully step away from the busy-ness of life and ease into a calm, present state of mind. Through the context of a traditional yoga class (breath awareness and mindful movement), participants will be invited to immerse themselves in a sensory exploration of the space and art around us, our breath, and our bodies to help discover a sense of comfort, creativity, and strength in our body-mind. All levels of experience are welcome. Space for this free class is limited. Please register via Dartmouth Groups.
Notes:
*Yoga mats will be provided.
**Please plan to wear comfortable clothing. Water bottles and food are not permitted in the gallery space, although there will be a water fountain nearby for hydration and lockers for your belongings.
***It is helpful if you are able to move from the floor to standing with some ease.
