Afghanistan has been at war for many decades, and the people living there have not experienced and are privileged from most of the opportunities other people have. We as a group of Afghan students and those who care about Afghanistan want to come together, support each other, and build a community trying to have a positive influence on the current situation of Afghanistan that impacts all Afghans across the world. As it is obvious, students coming from Afghanistan see a huge cultural difference when they come to the United States. And people feel better doing things that are more meaningful and define parts of their identity. We all want to bring the Afghan culture back to Afghan students who are far away from home and show it to those who are curious about it and want to experience it.
